Overview

At Rustical Travel, our speciality is private properties with gardens and a pool; this village house ticks these boxes and is a quality, comfortable home within striking distance to many of Galicia´s highlights.

Its location is ideal for visits to the fascinating Galicia towns of Santiago de Compostela, Lugo, Betanzos and A Coruña.

There are also lovely beaches within 30 minutes drive, so it is a place where we may choose for some days out on the beach too.

This is a traditional Galician hamlet cottage with other houses around. It doesn't have the privacy of a country home alone, but you still have plenty of intimate space around its large private gardens.

The inviting and attractive interiors, the large private gardens and the barbecue area make this house a great home for holidays in Galicia.

Although there are no bars or shops within walking distance, you can spend hours walking along rural tracks in the pretty local woods which start on your doorstep.

You can also find a good selection of authentic Galician restaurants within 10 mins drive.

We would happily stay at this lovely holiday home, and our planning for one week would possibly be:

-2 or 3 days out visiting the historic towns of Santiago de Compostela, Betanzos and A Coruña.

-2 days at the beach, possibly Gandarío beach, and eating local fish or seafood at the nearby restaurants.

-2 days staying locally at our villa, going for local walks, and enjoying the pool and the gardens if the weather is lovely.

We love Galicia!
