Here you can alternate the strokes in your private 12-meter pool with swimming in the sea. Relax on the lawned gardens or on the nearby sandy beach. All bedrooms are double bedded but 2 additional beds can be provided and Bedroom 4 can either have two double beds or 4 single beds; this allows the maximum capacity of the property to be 12 people in 4 bedrooms, instead of 8 people in 4 bedrooms.

Overview

In this 19th Century villa you can imagine you are Jay Gatsby or Daisy Buchanan lounging in spacious gardens whilst sipping a cool refreshing Martini. Although it is not as grand as the Great Gatsby Mansion, it is certainly as chic and a very rare opportunity to enjoy a house of the Art Deco era so close to the sea.

Being such close proximity to Barcelona, no doubt, affluent families in the 19th century would have driven out to such a villa for summer fun, to relax and play in the beautifully manicured lawned gardens or to skip down to the nearby sandy beach.

This unique house is set in an urban beach area and although there are other houses not far from you, it still serves as a peaceful retreat and enjoys a greal deal of privacy.

The villa sits just above a very pretty golf course and sets a wonderfully tranquil mood.. Maybe it is time to slow down. On the other hand the far reaching lawns and the 12 metre pool seemed to invite us to run about, roll around and dive into the refreshing water all at once!

The designers of this house clearly demanded quality and paid close attention to detail. The kitchen facilities are fantastic and if you fancy preparing a scrumptious meal then you may enjoy the up to date appliances and the extra wide oven!

If you decide to fill the house with friends or family, then we felt that the sitting room is just big enough for twelve people. However, the games room is an excellent alternative for everybody to get together.

And if you are a true citizen of the 21st Century then you will love the great technology in this holiday home, which includes a google assistant.

We felt that the trump card of this holiday home is the location. Not only are you in striking distance of the vibrant cosmopolitan Barcelona but you can also easily reach the spectacular mountain range of Monseratt and visit the Benedictine monestry Santa Maria with it's breath taking views.

There is also the natural park of Montnegre, where you can hike, climb, mountain bike, etc, through Mediterranean woods and forests. Then, just brush aside the branches and you will have shimmering sea views!

There is more.....as well as your pretty local beach, which is a ten minute walk down hill (you may want to think twice about hiking up in the mid day sun) you can also have sun drenced days out on the beautiful wild beaches of Costa Brava.

Take a picnic or treat yourself to tapas in a chiringuito whilst listening to the reassuring ebb and flow of the Medetarranean surf.

To sum it up this holiday home has high levels of comfort and the facilities are hardly missing anything you may wish to have.
