Undoubtedly one of the most natural and organically charming luxury villas we have inspected in the last couple of decades. This delightful haven is overwhelmingly beautiful, and the interior spaces which have been decorated with great delicacy by local artisans, create a calm and perfectly balanced atmosphere. The infinity pool is stunning, with a diagonal swim path of 19 metres and a solar heating system; a proper pool for laps. A sumptious holiday home which looks after your well-being and has great respect for nature and the environment. Sleeps 16 people.

Pool heating is solar and only available and effective in Spring and Autumn, if temperatures aren´t too low (it only takes the chill off).

Notes on facilities

House heating: during the winter months (1st January to 30th April and 01st November to 31st of December) there is a supplementary heating charge (payable locally). Please ask us.

Pool heating system: it is solar and only takes the chill off in shoulder months, this is from April to May, and in October (asuming temperatures are not too low). This pool heating system is not necessary in Summer and not effective enough in Winter.

Extras

4 hours of housekeeping per day is included (communal areas only).

Some vegan toiletries are included (shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, shower wash and body lotion).

Some kItchen basics are included (to help you get started).

Pre-stocking service available (if requested in advance, and payable locally).

Notes on distribution

Two bedrooms are best for people with reduced mobility, although there are still some outdoor spaces which are located on different levels.

Bedroom 2 is the only bedroom that can only be accesed from outside (from the firsrt floor terrace).

Bedroom 1 or 3 could be regarded as master bedrooms.

Bedroom 2 can be set up as a double bed if needed but is generally set up as a twin room.

Bedrooms 4, 6 and 7 can be made as twin bedded on previous request.

Bedroom 6 (triple bedded) is great for children.

The Casita (annexe) directly behind the East Wing is ideal to accommodate two teenagers who would prefer a bit more privacy and it is also often used by guests for their nanny and other members of staff.

The property sitters / caretakers live on a separate house; they are at hand if needed, otherwise your privacy is respected.

This country estate inspires you to unwind, have fun and fully disconnect... It is not often that we find places as attractive as this one to gather with your friends, loved ones, or simply to organize a memorable retreat.

Whatever the experience you are looking for, the exceptional qualities of this property will help you to relax and to disconnect or maybe to reconnect somehow?

Here, every detail has been considered so that it is in harmony with nature, while at the same time you will enjoy the comfort provided by its successful design and its architectural qualities.

The main purpose of this holiday villa is well-being.

Whether you want to eat all together al fresco, or if you want to find your own secluded magical corner, you’ll soon realize that this estate is an ideal place for both.

Inside, comfort is guaranteed thanks to spacious rooms, with high-quality mattresses and bedding which will ensure you a good night's rest. And if you like having siestas you’ll discover many peaceful enclaves.

Although you may always expect air conditioning in the facilities of a luxury villa, this house, thanks to the way it's been built, is normally able to maintain good temperatures even in hot months. The rooms have ceiling fans for warmer nights.

During our visit we also found that the decoration and finishings were perfect, a thoughtful balance of natural elements such as natural fiber carpets, old restored wooden doors, beautiful paintings or mosaics meticulously made by local craftsmen.

It is possible to walk throughout the house without putting a foot outside, except for one bedroom and the adjoining house (this is the Casita which is more suitable for young people or staff that you may wish to bring with you) and which are accessed from the outside. However, with its square shape arranged around a huge Moorish style patio, it is more practical to cross the patio to get from one end of the house to the other. We thought the layout was great for groups.

The owners of this property have taken into consideration the needs and safety of children. The most potential fall hazards have been blocked off to ensure added safety. If you have any concerns, please ask any questions beforehand!

The extensive pool area is about 30 metres from the house and the whole pool area can be gated.

Reservations that require single beds instead of doubles should be aware that several rooms can allow for this and should be arranged in advance.

If you enjoy practising yoga or a similar activity, you will find fabulous options both inside and outside the house.

The beautiful white town of Gaucín is less than 1 kilometre away, so 15 minutes may be enough to reach bars, restaurants and shops by foot. However, it may not be entirely practical to go shopping and return loaded with too many bags, but it is a viable option for a walk or to go for some wine and tapas. Remember that Gaucín also offers some particularly good restaurants.

If you feel more adventurous and fancy going further afield, then not only do you have the sea, the mountains and historical cities to explore but this region offers us everything without going too far.

Although let’s be realistic, few of you will want to leave this fantastic place!

In the early folds of the Ronda mountains, not far from the Mediterranean sea.

In intimate wooded location with excellent views. Accessed by rural track of approx. 800 metres, the last 50 metres are somewhat steep but all you need is an ordinary car. The property is approx. 1 km away from Gaucin village so about 20 minutes walk.
