  • Normal check-in time: 4 pm – 10 pm; Normal check-out time: 10 am.

  • There are 2 house cats in this estate that may come into the houses if doors are left open, although they are very sweet, guests who are allergic should be aware of this.

  • Heating in colder months: heating is only included from 8 am to 10 am and 6 pm to 23 pm, and at an additional cost at other times payable locally (*) (*) additional cost of €40 in the apartment per day and €40 in the Casita per day to have the heating on from 8.00 - 24.00.

  • A refundable security deposit of 150 euros applies to this property. When you make a booking you authorize for this sum to be held against your card subject to deductions for breakages/damage, unpaid local charges (when applicable) or exceptional cleaning.

Notes on layout

The Apartment is on the ground floor of a two floor building; it has a private front door from the street which opens into the entrance hall. The property owner, who may sometimes be in residence, lives on the 1st floor of this bulding. She does not use the oudoor areas or swimming pool when there are guests. She also strictly respects guest´s privacy. 

Although the property has three bedrooms in total for 6 people, it sleeps up to 7 people as there is a sofa bed in the Apartment.

The twin bedded room (in the Apartment) may be prepared as a king size double bedded room on request.

Overview

Hidden behind an undistinguished façade of a street in the mountain village of Gaucin, this property goes completely unnoticed. It is a sudden entrance, just a street door and a wall, hiding this paradisiacal accommodation.

We are on the edge of the village of this picturesque town in the Ronda mountains.

After our visit we were not surprised that this house has been featured in numerous country home or gardening magazines over the last 10 years. The Moorish style of the house is unmatched.

The design and decoration carried out by its owners are admirable, with scrupulous attention to detail and a very special sensitivity.

The multiple mosaics that we find in the house are beautiful works of art that demonstrate the exceptional skill and professional creativity of the owners. We will make special mention of the pool sundial mosaic made with infinite tiny pieces of enameled glass; it left us speechless.

But there is much more, by staying in this formidable house, we will have the opportunity to discover endless imaginative artisan details that will delight us.

This accommodation with the apartment and casita, offer a perfect option for families or different couples who want to be together, but each with their own space; or simply for those families who want to have the flexibility offered by having two separate houses, but with their swimming pool and private gardens.

The owner is sometimes on the property, and resides on the first floor of the apartment, using her own access door and does not use the pool or gardens, which are for the exclusive use of our clients. Your privacy is also respected.

In general the facilities you find are all of high quality and there is fiber optic internet connection.

The apartment is furnished in such a way that the maximum capacity 6/7 people can eat together inside or outside. The exteriors are also well equipped for outdoor living, either all together or separately.

If there is a magical corner that we fell in love with, it is the terrace of the Casita, what an idyllic place to relax and spend idle hours!!. We found the kitchenette in this top terrace as very convenient.

An accommodation without a doubt far from the ordinary and set in an idyllic location.
