Owned by a local family who live in nearby village, guests can be sure that help and assistance is on hand whenever they need it. You get here spacious grounds with a private pool and lovely lawn give way to rambling countryside, divided by a fence and a handful of sheep. You can be sure of excellent privacy during your stay.
This is wonderful rustic living with both sun and shade on hand for lingering afternoons beside the pool.
A simple built-in barbeque and seating area invites easy suppers with superb views of the mountains.
Inside the farmhouse you will find a well-equipped kitchen and pretty features like a wood-burning fire, rustic beam features, exposed stone, and a summery feel that seeps into every corner.
The kitchen bar with stools invites a delightful place to sit and nibble on tapas in the late afternoon. The al fresco space on the patio is also only a few steps from the kitchen.

Wooded Mediterranean valley with farmland. The early folds of Ronda mountains.
Access down a 1 km rural track from the country road to Gaucin. Although the track is unmade and there is a part slightly steep, we found it not challenging and all you need is an ordinary car (not low-slung sports cars).

Rustical Update
We have been informed that the dog is there to protect the sheep nearby.
We had a lovely time and Juan Luis was an excellent host. He provided everything we could need for the house, which was much appreciated. The setting is wonderful and we loved watching the goats going up and down the hill. The only negative was the final section of track to the house which needs upgrading."

On August 2019 we have been informed by the property manager that the last part of the track to the house is a bit worn-out due to the normal use and the occasional rains, but they have plans to upgrade it before the 2020 season starts.
Had a fantastic holiday, owner met us (Juan) and could not be more helpful, had wine and water for us when we arrived, showed us around the farmhouse, and checked/cleaned the pool every other day, Farmhouse spacious with everything you need. Would recommend it as a great place to get away from it all out in the country side."
