Notes on facilities

There are dual air conditioning/heating units in the Annexe as well as the bedrooms and living area of the Main house.

The one-bedroom annexe also has self-catering facilities as well as the barbecue area.

A clinic close to this villa offers massages and other natural therapeutic treatments. You may request these services locally or in advance.

Notes on layout

The Annexe (3rd bedroom) is a self-containing one-bedroom cottage directly next to the main house (two bedrooms). The main house and the annexe both link via the pool and barbecue area.  

Although the property is mainly arranged on one floor, there are some steps down to the barbecue/pool area and the One bedroom annexe.

Overview

This accommodation was fully renovated in early 2023 by its new Swedish owners. We found most things fresh and in a good state on our visit, with a well-equipped kitchen. We counted three fridges!

The house shows a Nordic style; it is a cosy and pleasant place to spend your holidays in the Granada region, halfway between La Alhambra Palace and the Tropical Coast.

The main house with two bedrooms, the barbecue/pool area, and the one-bedroom annexe are all at hand here. It is a practical accommodation, where you can quickly move around. Although it is mainly arranged on one floor, the pool and barbecue area are slightly lower, so there are just a few steps to get around.

Thanks to a great barbecue area, it is ideal for those who like cooking outdoors. This outdoor space with a pergola and some kitchen facilities is slightly above the pool and enjoys intimacy and views.

Although it is a village house, the outdoor areas still preserve a significant level of privacy, and you are at the edge of the village, so you get a view in front of you.

The one-bedroom annexe, directly next to the main house, still has its independency and is our choice as the best bedroom with en suite facilities and a small kitchen. We loved the large windows at this self-contained annexe; what a great view!

The setting is also ideal for holidays. The local valley where we find this village house is pretty and welcoming. It is a semitropical valley, sitting between the Mediterranean Sea and the snowy mountains of Sierra Nevada, coated white for most of the year. The quality of the oranges from this valley is renowned in Andalucia!

The magic of Granada is 30 minutes away, as are the unspoilt beaches of the Tropical Coast, heading in opposite directions.

Beautiful property inside and out due to the owners’ taste and sense of aesthetics. Fabulous views, very peaceful. A parasol is needed on the terrace in high summer as not enough shade, and manuals for appliances are only in Spanish or Swedish so couldn’t use the oven or hob or tv."

The local managers reminded us they are always available to assist guests with any appliance or device that may require guidance. In addition, the owners will also look into providing extra shade on the patio for those high summer days when the current shade may not cover part of the patio
