Sinopsis

The thoughtfulness, care and attention to detail and general welcome were absolutely excellent. The photographs were completely borne out by the actuality, (unlike some), and made our stay just as we had imagined it!. House was perfect, location was perfect, made for a perfect week's stay in Corcubión."

The pictures do not do it justice! It's amazingly cute with so many thoughtful details. The exterior is adorable but what lies behind the door is even better. Cozy, historic yet modern at the same time. Jose's wife made us almond cookies and an almond cake which were delicious. We are caterers and loved the home baked goods and ate them all! Jose also left candies, oils for salad, coffee, tea and beverages in the fridge including cava and whiskey. We toasted our first night with one bottle of Cava then took relaxing baths in the tub on the last night and finished the cava. Corcubion is a darling town and we loved being able to explore the region. Jose's recommendations on restaurants were great, as was his guide to the surrounding area. I highly recommend this as a perfect get away in Galicia!"

The cottage is charming and well placed in the village (though without any views). It is very well equipped with everything you need including heating and cooling. The host, José, is also charming and his wife makes excellent cakes! Fully recommended! The Rustical booking service is excellent and responsive."

We have recently stayed here for 7 nights as a family. The property was beautiful and the owner and his daughter were very welcoming. Our children especially enjoyed the lovely cake and cookies that the owners made for us! We enjoyed our time here and one special highlight was a sea fishing trip in Finsterra, we caught lots and took some home for dinner. It was a great experience for the children. This is now the 4th rustical travel property we have stayed in and we are never disappointed."

We spent 8 days at this delightful cottage. The house had been finished to a very high standard and is full of character. Jose the owner was very helpful showing us around the house at the start of our visit and providing a lot of detailed information on the locality. He even went out of his way to replace a faulty DVD player the same day. The village of Corcorbion was very pleasant and within easy travelling distance to some fabulous beaches. We started our holiday with 2 nights in Santiago de Compostella as a city break with the Pirates house as the seaside break. A good combination. A lovely cottage and highly re commended."

The property was absolutely stunning and every detail was perfect. In fact the lovely photographs on your website just don't do it justice, it needs to be seen in person. Wonderful welcome even with a very late delayed flight and lovely touches from the owners such as cava, chocolates and a homemade cake! The owners were brilliant, even joining us for drinks on our last night. We couldn't have asked for more. We'll definitely be using Rustical Travel for another holiday property in the future, you have so many we'd love to try!"

AG24. I fell in love with the cottage when I saw the photographs on the Rustical Travel website. The property is beautiful and far exceeded my hopes and expectations and the amenities catered to our every need. All the lovely details/decor made it a pleasure to live there - I was sad to leave. I'll be showing all my family and friends the photographs and recommending this cottage. Ana and Jose welcomed us with a delicious homemade orange cake and a bottle of Cava that was nicely cooled in the fridge. They are both very friendly, welcoming people and did speak a little English, so we were able to enjoy a drink with them one evening. They provided us with lots of information on the area we were staying and recommended a few restaurants. All in all it was a wonderful week that passed all too quickly. Rustical Travel were also very helpful and I would certainly recommend your company to my relatives and friends. Regards Margaret Nooth"

Gary | October | 2013

The house was an enormous delight! One of the loveliest places my wife and I have ever stayed. The oversize bathtub was very welcome after a day of driving; and the cava and home made muffins made it truly luxurious. We loved the neighborhood tucked back off the main streets of Corcubion; everything in the village, and in the neighboring village of Cee, were within an easy walk. We had a great time exploring the coast, and the hike up Monte Pindo was exhilarating (and a bit creepy -- those stones kept looking at us!) We had phone problems, and weren't able to call the owner. Thank goodness for a kind young man who called for us! I don't know if we are the only ones to ever have this problem. Perhaps if the owner had met us personally at the residence . . . ? Anyway, this did not in any way detract from the amazing experience. We'd recommend this place for anybody looking for an out of the way, charming experience."

Rustical Update

The owner would be happy to to wait for arrivals at the property, but he prefers to use an easy-to-find meeting place at the entrance to the village so that he can direct you to the best place to park. We're glad to hear there was no difficulty (we do point out in the travel information that you will need to bring an operable mobile phone).

We had a brilliant holiday. We were amazed how few British people we saw and that was nice from our perspective but I did get the impression, in Galicia particularly, that the Spanish are happy to keep its charms a secret from us foreigners. The service from Rustical Travel was superb, the quality of information, tips and advice really good. We visited many of the places suggested and the walks. The owners of AG 24 were lovely with a gift of wine, chocolate and freshly baked cake awaiting us on arrival. Jose was very helpful and the house charming. "

Just to say my husband and I loved our stay!! Jose was a gentleman and your descriptions of the property were exactly as it is - fabulous! Your directions to the property and information pack were extremely useful, thank you. We would definitely use your company again and will be recommending it to our friends! We had a great trip to Northern Spain and will definitely return in the future to explore it some more."

Just a note to say a big thank you for arranging our holiday to Corcubion last week! Everything went to plan with the key collection and Jose, the owner, was absolutely lovely. Despite the weather (!) we had a really enjoyable trip, saw lots and had a very relaxing time… We plan to organise another trip with you next year, so I’ll let you know when we have decided on a destination! Very grateful for your help, Kindest regards"
