Estupenda villa privada con jardines de juegos en el pre Pirineo

It was a beautiful old house with lots of space and a large garden. There is plenty to do even in bad weather. You walk straight from the house into nature. Very friendly owners. We felt welcome. Information in advance was fine . We had a wonderful week!"

Everything about the property was excellent, the facility it's upkeep, the garden the pool, the amenities the welcome from the owners and their willing to assist in every detail. It was all absolutely perfect!"

The villla as a whole was amazing. The views were spectacular from everywhere. Various hikes right on your door step to get some exercise. It was so relaxing even though there were 15 of us (8ad 7ch) from teenagers to granny as there was so much room. The house itself had so much character with ample spaces to escape for some alone time. The football pitch was a big bonus for out gang. We loved the local area. The owners were very nice also."

Super home - on its own but 1km from nearby village with a small grocery store and baker, and couple of restaurants. Excellent salt-based swimming pool with shower next to the pool; acres of space. Loved the games room with a real pool table (not some cheap version) and a vintage table football table from the 1950s + ping pong. Lots of places to hide out on with balconies, two kitchens, loos and showers everywhere. Air conditioning just been put in - did not need it; perhaps only on the top floor a little. The boys enjoyed the large-screen projector upstairs. Did a nice run (mostly walking up...) up to Capolat and down again in a circuit. We barely ventured out - no need to! (just to the local cafe for breakfast on a couple of days to join the locals with tomato bread, sausage and chilled red wine!"

Amazing property, really spacious for 16 of us, including teenagers and 4 different families. Great location as right on waymarked walking trails, feels away from it all, but actually just 15 min and you've supermarkets etc Would definitely go again."

Stunning property with so much space"

We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing villa!! The villa and grounds were immaculate, well equipped and spacious, it was everything we could have wished for a group of 8 adults and 8 children!!! The owners were fantastic, super helpful and even gave us fresh produce from the vegetable garden…. we will definitely be returning!!!"

Our party of 10 adults, 4 children and a toddler stayed for two weeks end of July, beginning of August, three generations of extended family. The farmhouse exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The owners were very approachable if we had any queries or problems. The farmhouse is huge and at no time did we feel on top of each other. The two kitchens meant that the coeliac in our party had no problems with food preparation and contamination. Everybody loved the pool and games room, toddler had fun in the sandpit and on the swing. The children could make as much noise as they liked with so much outside space to run around on.The views were absolutely amazing, storm watching was brilliant from the balconies. The newly installed air conditioning was much appreciated in the high temperatures. Lastly a thank you for the box of homegrown vegetables and the welcome bread and cava. This is our second holiday booking through Rustical Travel and the process has been smooth and professional on both occasions"

This place was fantastic. We were a large group of 8 adults with 8 kids all under 6 and this place catered for us brilliantly. There was more then enough room fo all of us and the quality of the facilities made it a very comfortable stay. The kids (and the adults) loved the pool, football pitch and playhouse area which were all very well maintained. We have already booked to return next year, thanks Cal Macia!"

The house was absolutely fantastic, perfect for our group of 10 adults and 8 children. It had everything we needed and was set up perfectly for the children to enjoy, with the games room, swing, slide and the Wendy house and sand pit which was a big hit with the little ones. Even though the house was in the middle of nowhere, there was so much there to entertain everyone and walks to do. There were lots of different sections of the house to enjoy and as a group of 18, we never once felt cramped or on top of each other. There is a big football pitch which the children enjoyed and a vegetable patch and some animals and birds to look at. With all the bedrooms having their own bathroom as well, it worked well. There were a couple of big supermarkets in the local town 10 mins drive away which had everything we needed. The owners of the property were super helpful and great at keeping in touch. Such lovely people and would do anything to help us. One of the group turned 40 when we were there so we had a little party and pre organised the owners dad to come and cook paella for us all. It was fantastic and a great touch. Better than going out to a restaurant! The views from the house are fantastic and we would have got out more and tried some local activities but we just enjoyed the house so much we didn't bother! One family took a day trip to Barcelona which they enjoyed. This really is a perfect place to enjoy a group or family get together and fantastic for kids. We have been coming to Catalonia for the last 10 years as a family - usually 12 - 14 in our group, all different ages. The house was perfect for us - lots of space, excellent facilities, stunning views. Closeness to the mountains was a real bonus for the walkers and runners in the group. Easy drive to towns and villages suited those who like to relax with a coffee. Really welcoming family when we arrived and during the stay - the vegetable basket was a real treat! It was just a really lovely house and we would definitely come back. The organisation from Rustica Travel was excellent - all the information packs, maps were very clear and helpful. And a really easy and efficient booking service. Thank you!"

My family and I (10 adults and 6 children under 4) had the most wonderful holiday. The villa was perfect in every way and lived up to all our expectations. It has been renovated to a high standard. We could not fault it. Plenty of space for all the family. We enjoyed all the facilities! We played badminton, football, table tennis - the children loved the sand pit, Wendy house , swings and of course we all loved the beautiful pool. The views from the villa were stunning . It was so peaceful . I certainly hope to return with my family to this amazing place."

Absolutely Fanta villa. Perfect place for a large group to stay. Ensuits to every bedroom and lots of seating areas as well as the large dining areas mean that you can see as much or as little of the rest of the party as you want. Lovely pool, games room and outside area. Everything you need is there. We were desperately trying to think of ways to improve the villa but couldn't think of any-that's how good it is! We had an absolutely lovely time there!"

Villa CA31 is the perfect villa for a large group of family or friends. We had a fantastic week with everything we could have asked for at our fingertips. The owners were absolutely delightful, so helpful and extremely kind. Cristina's father cooked us paella one evening and it was the best we'd ever had. We spent days by the gorgeous pool which kept the children entertained and BBQ'd on an evening sipping local Cava. The villa beds were so comfortable we all slept brilliantly and the bedrooms being en suite was a real bonus so everyone had their privacy. The kitchens, yes two not one, were so well equipped. We want to send the owners and Rustical Travel a great big thank!! We have recommended this property to all our friends and family."

We have had two wonderful week in this incredible property.Everything was just perfect for a group of 8 adults and 8 children.We went to Figueres, Barcelona, Solsona, Montserrat and memorials of the civil war - but mostly we just enjoyed the pool, the weather, the barbeque...an absolute wonderful vacation!! We have already talked about coming back next year.

Our family stayed here end of July 2016 and we were very impressed by the quality of the villa and the surrounding land. There were 16 of us and it did not feel overcrowded at all. The facilities eg:swimming pool, games room, childrens play areas, football pitch are excellent, the views from the balconies, stunning. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms lovely, and the family areas very spacious. Christina, the owner, was very helpful, she even called taxis for us as our spanish is limited. We received a basket of homegrown vegetables, which were delightful, and a lovely welcome gift as well. The children in the group enjoyed themselves immensely, plenty of things to keep them occupied. Berga is a nice town, and Lidl is only 10 minutes away for groceries etc.Overall, we would definitely recommend this villa, and will definitely be back again!"

This is a fantastic villa in a beautiful location. A party of 13 of us - three families (six adults, seven kids) - stayed there for a week in August and it suited us perfectly. It could easily have fit another family. It is well equipped with everything you could think of, child friendly and safe. The pool is lovely, the outdoor kitchen and games room a great addition and all in all we had a lovely week. The staff who showed us in were friendly and welcoming. We couldn't find anything to fault it, it felt very luxurious. We went for a walk up the hill behind the house a couple of times which took a couple of hours and gave great views. The nearby town is easy to get to for shopping. I would definitely go back to Catalonia and to this villa if I had a large enough party."

Our family had a truly wonderful stay at Cal Macia at the end of June. We found the accomodation to be of an exceptional standard and all the facilities superb. In particular the thoughtful provision for children's amusement were very much appreciated. The hosts were very helpful and attentive and responded very quickly to our queries and requests and the provision of wonderful fresh vegetables from the garden was greatly enjoyed. The temperatures were unusually high during our stay and we needed fans to enable the children to sleep in the upstairs rooms. These were provided but there is no doubt that air conditioning would be desirable as would some fly swats!!! Overall we had a wonderful week and would certainly consider returning.
