Boasting a charming Moroccan patio with plunge pool and a romantic master bedroom with private terrace, this is an idyllic base for exploring the delights of the Tropical Coast with the historic Granada city close by. Sleeps 5.

This holiday home is suitable for winter lets but heating would be required to warm the house up and this is an additional cost (see Booking Information).

Lounge; kitchen with dining table; 2nd living area; patio with plunge pool. 

First floor

Stairs from kitchen / living area to Bedroom 1: master king size bed with en suite shower room with en suite bathroom (walk-in shower) and private furnished terrace. 

Stairs from lounge to Bedroom 2: twin bedded room (2 beds x 1 metre wide x 1.90 metre long) with Juliet balcony; Bedroom 3: triple bedded, bunk beds (2 beds x 0.90 metre wide x 1.90 metre long) plus single bed (0.90 metre wide x 1.80 metre long).

Notes on layout

Although there are three bedrooms and bedroom 3 can sleep 3 people, we consider the property to suit up to 5 adults and a child. 

To provide more sleeping arrangements, Bedroom 2 can be made as a double bed on previous request (otherwise this bedroom is offered as a twin).

Overview

Whimsical romance and tropical touches bring this lovely little village house to life in the rolling valleys close to Granada.

Well within reach of beautiful beaches and the majesty of the Alhambra Palace, guests can spend their days in easy bliss splashing in the sea, hiking the trails of the Alpajurras, and exploring the Land of a Thousand Castles.

Those who prefer to stay put will find this area of Andalusia filled with simple pleasures. The Lecrin Valley, named by the moors as the Happy Valley, brims with citrus trees, wild walks, and warm weather.

Pretty little villages can be found scattered across the nooks and crannies of the hills, often offering outstanding views and great places to eat.

A good holiday home should strike the right chords in terms of lush location and facilities, and this home easily ticks those boxes.

Recently renovated in 2017, the sweet three-bedroom home boasts plenty of character.

A highlight has to be the Moroccan style patio complete with shimmering plunge pool and fragrant orange trees. Despite being a village house with another property next door, a well-placed vine climber delivers a feeling of fabulous village privacy.

Al fresco dining spots capture those long summer lunches, and outdoor lighting ensures that wine-soaked nights won’t need to be cut short. 

Inside, the charisma continues with splashes of color and lashings of charm.

The well-appointed kitchen has a clean country feel – highlighted by the brand-new granite worktop.

We found the utility room was also a thoughtful touch. This feeling of thoughtfulness echoes throughout the home, as the owner has clearly paid attention to catching the right balance between practicality and comfort.

The master bedroom is another micro piece de resistance of this delightful little property. With rustic touches, an ensuite bathroom, and private terrace with views out onto the pool, it creates the feel of a romantic bolt hole for couples seeking a little extra privacy.

Small families too, will also enjoy the quaint charm of this village house, although those with small children may want to be wary of the steep stairs that lead up to the first-floor bedrooms.

Those travelers who are itching to get out and explore the wonders of the Lecrin Valley and beyond will find this home an ideal base – especially if renting a car.

While the property is perched in the middle of the village there is often parking right outside.

The village is also well connected to the motorways; meaning that you can travel to all the major area highlights without having to swap out rural country peace for crazy city living.

From start to finish we had the most wonderful experience at the property. The property is finished to a high standard throughout and the photos do not do the property justice (the plunge pool was much larger than we had anticipated from the website and rooms were exceptional): It is FABULOUS! Our hosts could also not have been more attentive to our needs from providing a welcome pack, advising of local walking routes for us and the dog, pool maintenance to even the occasional drop off of figs from the orchard! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and would definitely recommend to anyone. 5 Stars!!"
