This holiday villa is in semi-tropical countryside at Tijola, just five minutes drive from popular Orgiva (see on map), the capital of the Alpujarra mountain region near Granada. It’s a great spot for holidays with all the charm of the Guadalfeo river valley and a sunny, exotic ambience in a fertile basin between the mountains. It’s warm enough to grow avocados and mangos grow here. The Costa Tropical and its beach restaurants are 45 minutes away.

We have been successfully offering this villa ever since it was completed as a purpose-built holiday home a few years ago. It represents a very adequate private villa in its straightforward facilities and equipment.

It's very acceptable and perfectly comfortable: neat and fresh for a sunny holiday stay. We might like it to have a little more character, but our clients tell us they are happy with it, the pool is great and it’s very well-priced: as a good, inexpensive holiday rental villa in the Alpujarra, it's hard to beat.

The villa is located on the quiet country lane out of Orgiva, so there's no need to drive down bumpy tracks to reach it. The gardens have now grown to maturity making it feel more secluded and intimate and the swimming pool is open for a typically long Andalusia season.

The house is bungalow-style, open-plan and all on one floor, with a shaded porch area where you can to sit out and dine. There’s a comfortable double bed and another bedroom with two individual beds that we consider appropriate for children or teenagers.

In three quarters of an hour you can be at the coast or in Granada to visit the Alhambra.

In half an hour you can drive up to the high Alpujarra villages of Pampaneira, Bubion and Capileira in the dramatic Poqueira Gorge, for cooler temperatures, meals in village restaurants, fascinating architecture and superb walking.

All on one floor: open plan living / dining room and kitchen; two bedrooms (one double-bedded, one twin-bedded for two children or teenagers); shower room/WC.

-The swimming pool is open from mid-May to the end of September, weather permitting.
