This sunny apartment in the lovely old quarter of Gaucin is on two floors, one above street level and the other higher still, guaranteeing excellent views.

It is a very attractive home with a pleasant personality, clean and white, balanced with soft colours and a decoration of simple elegance. There are terracotta tiles, beamed ceilings, old restored doors and quality furnishings. The views of the village and the valley from windows and terraces are spectacular.

The first floor is taken up by an open plan kitchen-dining-sitting room and two terraces with expansive views. One terrace is small and shaded, just right for hotter days; the other is perfect for enjoying meals with the village, valley and mountain ridges spread out before you.

On the upper floor are the two bedrooms and bathroom.

For day trips, you are spoilt for choice: the historic town of Ronda is just 40 minutes away, the Costa beaches even less. Gibraltar is only one hour away. And nearer at hand are traditional villages such as Genalguacil or Jimena de la Frontera: well worth a visit. Books are available with information on the superb trekking to be done around Gaucin.

During summer months the village has a very well-maintained public swimming pool.

On two floors (the house is accessed up stairs from main door)
Lower floor: open plan living/dining room & kitchen; access to covered terrace (with seating) and  to open sun terrace (with seating and barbecue)
Upper floor: two bedrooms (one double, one twin); bathroom/WC (shower over bathtub).

Notes
-Please note that the staircases here mean that the house is not toddler-friendly.
-Firewood is included in the rental price.
