Booking guide

1. Choosing your holiday property


Browse our website at your leisure and contact us with the property you are interested in and the dates. Each property is clearly described with photographs and has a booking calendar which is updated regularly. We will get back to you promptly to confirm availability. If the property you enquire about is not available, we will suggest alternatives based on the information you have given us.

Or, if you prefer, tell us what you are looking for and we will make recommendations based on our personal knowledge of all the properties and areas. In this case, we will need to know:
• The number of people (with ages of children, if any)
• Dates
• Rural area of preference (See our guide to rural Spain)
• Any special requirements you may have

2. Holding a property for you

If you are definitely interested in a property, you can simply contact us to book it directly. Alternatively, you can request a hold on it.

During the two-day hold (or reserve) period, nobody else can book your selection: giving you time to talk to other people in your party, or make travel arrangements, before confirming the booking.

3. Confirming the booking

Once you have decided that you wish to confirm a booking, you can book by email or phone. We will need to know:

• Your name
• Number of people in your party (with ages of children, if any)
• Your postal address
• A contact telephone number
• Any special requirements
• Credit card details (VISA or Mastercard)

A 25% deposit of the rental price is required to confirm the booking, unless the holiday start date is within 4 weeks, in which case the total value of the booking is due.


On payment of deposit, you will receive a Confirmation of Booking by email, as well as directions to your holiday property and any local information we think you might appreciate.

The Confirmation of Booking will show the price, the amount you have paid, the balance and the date it is due. If you prefer, we will fax or post your holiday documents.

The balance of your holiday booking is due 28 days before the holiday begins and normally charged automatically to your credit card .

4. Customer service

 Although we offer some online services such as availability, Rustical Travel is not an automated system. It is a small Spanish business of experienced professionals who live here, know the areas we are promoting and offer you a personalized service.
